Marcus Holden Australian Fiddler
Bloody Dog Studio
With Nigel Lever's immortal words "that blody dog" in response to our bull-terrier
barking at Bogong moths during a perfect take, Bloody Dog Studio was born.
That was in 1988.
My first studio experience was in 1967 when I recorded with a choir in EMI
studio 301 B in Sydney.
Since then I have been part of over 500 recordings inclduing feature film
soundtracks, TV series music, jingles, countless albums and collaborations
with a myrriad of musical stylists.

and Composing
Bloody Dog Studio is a comfortable place to record. Big enough for tracking drums etc, but small enough to be affordable. It's also great for recording vocals, strings etc. I have access to many talented musicians including singers, string players, pianists, accordionists even tuba players.Click here for more info. You can even send me an mp3 and I can send you back your completed files in whatever formatvia files transfer systems such as YOUSENDIT.
The current studio was built using some design knowledge learned from my
father Terry
Holden who apart from being a computer
research scientist, wrote many of the Oz building design standards.
I even have a lovely old upright German piano and loads of wonderful sounding
instruments; stringed, percussion and much more. See Equipment
